Kayla has been in the insurance industry since 2013 and currently runs the Payne & Brown Insurance office in Upper Sandusky, where she also owns and operates Crossroads Crops Insurance Agency.
Growing up on a farm and earning a degree in agriculture from Ohio State University, she is passionate about agriculture, but enjoys working with all types of personal and commercial insurance accounts.
Taking her education to the next level, she earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2018 and achieved the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation in 2020.
Kayla is active in the local community serving the Wyandot County Farm Bureau, as a local 4-H advisor, member of the Riverdale and Upper Sandusky FFA Ag Ed Advisory Boards, Wyandot County 4-H Advisory Council and Endowment Committee and Wyandot County Senior Fair Board. In 2019, Kayla was awarded both the Upper Sandusky FFA Honorary Chapter Degree and the Ohio FFA Honorary State Degree for her support of the FFA and work within the agriculture industry.
She also enjoys hanging out with her eight nieces and nephews and pursuing her creative side with photography and custom-gifts through her part-time business, Creative K.
