Susan is a graduate of Kent State University. She has held a license in property and casualty since 1985, and a life and health licensed agent since 2003. She has been with Payne & Brown since February 2008.
Susan has been involved in insurance for most of her life, her father owned his own agency and primarily wrote policies for grocery stores. They would get calls at home after hours and on the weekend because customer service was important to him. Her father taught her the importance of insurance and the importance of providing stellar customer service.
Susan’s main focus for most of her insurance career has been personal lines with some farm insurance. Since 2017, her main focus has been with farm clients, and she enjoys working with farmers!
When she is not at Payne & Brown, she enjoys spending time with family. Her daughter and granddaughter live with her and there is nothing better than hearing an excited voice say Mamaw when the door unlocks after work. She is very involved with the church at Vineyard Church of Delaware County (VCDC) and co-leads a women’s small group, as well as a middle school leader and peer counselor.
Her new hobby is letting her artistic side grow and she loves it.
